Miles is 38-18 in one-possession games at LSU As the article reads, "Les Miles is going to make super weird decisions in close games that work out for him in the end because that's what happens — Miles is 38-18 in one-possession games at LSU" http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2...m_medium=newsletter&utm_campaign=lsu-football Have fun with this one...
Les Miles has been a boon the medical industry. Just think of all the sales of OTC blood pressure meds that would tank if he were to leave.
So 68% winning percentage. How many of those games did he have the more talented team? I bet at least 68% of the time, probably more. I don't think that record tells us anything.
What was most interesting to me is that if LSU plays twelve games per year (including bowl) for ten years = 120 games plus this years game and a few SEC championships, that makes around 123 total games that Miles has coached --- Is it true that 56 of these 123 games (46%) were "one possession games"?

one possession games arent a good thing for the most part. i think we are getting to the root of the problem.
We let Saturday's game turn into a 1 possession game with our super-conservative play calling, and .... as strong as our D played, they didn't get any turnovers.
