remember how wacky and unpredictable that season was? 3 weeks into this season, and already four top 10 teams have gone down to unranked opponents OU #3 Okie St # 5 USC #3 BYU #7
Well, in BYU's case, they clearly ended up ranked above their capabilities. LSU may well be ranked that way, as well. But the pollsters are big on knee-jerk reactions. They didn't stop to consider whether or not OU is any good this year. And Miami will be annointed kings of the world in short order when they beat OU. A lot of our own fans are upset that we're ranked as highly as we are right now, calling it undeserved. Who DOES deserve their ranking right now? We don't know because it's too early in the season TO know.
well, i sure hope it is 2007 all over again, although, i have a friend who may literally have a heart attack if there is another year like that and LSU is involved in the same type of theatrics :lol:
