Is there any SEC song more annoying than Rockytop?

There was the first rocky top to be heard tonight...that god for saken song will be in my head all night because it looks like UT will be scoring often.

 

This morning Rockytop is not so bad is it ?? That was a great fooball game , I thought I saw Coach Miles do the Tennessee Waltz to Rockytop , you know on the fake punt! I loved it !! Oh yes , the play it was a running play , the direction went left as if to pass, the hand off , and the middle of the line moved over and became blockers , all in front of the runner . That is not how the play went I know , but for my tv eyes, it looked like that , to me it looked like new blocking duties!! The runner was running out of room because hois blockers were in front of him , he got on that play 11 yards I think ! The offense is getting creative , JR, well I cannot say that I fell in love with him, but he is fun to watch . When he dove over the defender into the end zone , I became a fan oF the young man from Louisiana.

 

I am a bass player and play in country bands from time to time and I gotta say, I love that tune. It is a lot of fun to play and folks love it. I live in VA now so it is probably more popular here than in my old home state of LA but I for one dig the tune:thumb:

 

Honey, I've heard the song enough times to know EVERY word to it. I still don't like it. It annoys the crap out of me. It is a matter of opinion as to just how GREAT that song is. My opinion still stands that it's NOT a GREAT song.

 

I agree with "Honey" it is a great song , be the way why are you in Johnson City ?? I said that I thought I saw Coach Miles doing The Tennessee Waltz to Rockytop. On the fake punt . What I would have loved to have seen while the Vols defenders were walking around was , that JR toucked the center with a hutand got the ball , no count and he and the center jumped and the line followed, after about three or four runs like that there would be a TD the Vols would line up the next time . it is hard to tackle while one foot is in the air! But this is all for nothing , just opions , and mine is as good as yours . What counts is that The TIGERS win The Rest of Their games ,. GEAUX TIGERS !!! The Vols are like always crying , they know the the touched ball happened , they are saying we , as Tiger fans know it was not touched . All I care about is my bet was won , and better than that the Tigers won , a year free form the Vols Fans . Thank You for me to the Whole Tiger Team!!

 

At least they changed somewhat this year. I heard at least 3 different renditions, the original Loretti version, a "techno" version and yes, even a "rap version".

However playing it every 20 minutes gets WAYYYY annoying after a while.
