Is there any SEC song more annoying than Rockytop?

woooopigsooie has got to be the best. Razorbacks have the competition beat in the mascot department. I know the whole "Fighting Tigers" story, etc. and it is cool, but Razorbacks is pretty damn original and I like it best (other than LSU).

Annoying? "That's another Arkansas" crowd responds "FIRST DOWN!" I could puke. Hopefully I will not be hearing that too much this TG+1.

My Ark bro in laws absolutely hate the Chinese Bandits song after a defensive 3rd down stop. That's one of my favorites because of its originality.

I noticed Clemson also plays "Hold that Tiger." You know - the one where everyone goes "*******, *******" I thought we were the only ones that played that. Course they call their stadium Death Valley too (I think they called it DV first??).

Rocky Top is not so bad in doses. I'll be in Tennessee, so I can take it before the game, just not during. If it's played too much, that means Tenn is winning. Speaking of Tennessee, is there another SEC program that LSU has such an abysmal record against? Sheesh. Time to play catch up.

 

It's just that they play the damn song for every little accomplishment....such as a 1 yard gain on 3rd and long!:grin:

 

Tennessee scored more points against Floridia than LSU did now you are haveing a problem with I think . Against Auburn and Floridia LSU scored 13 points , while giving up 30 points , LSU will have to score more than 13 points to beat Tennessee that my Tiger fan friend is my point . Tennessee scored 20 points on the same Floridia team , the defenses are about the same , giving up 21 for Floridia , and LSU giving up 23 to the same Floridia team , . my next door neighbor , in case you do not know I live in Nashville Tennessee , came over on Sunday afternoon and made a bet. I do not know if I should tell you the bet , but it is above 90 and below 110 dollars , it is a standard bet we make when the two teams play . Now hear is what he is saying , That LSU gave up 30 and scored only 13 . His pick is that UT will score 42 points , and that our Tigers will score 13 points . We will have one TD, and two FG's. He feels like this is the best Tennesse team in 12 years ! He thinks that the Tennessee defense will be on JR from the start , he believes that the Vols can get to JR ,and rattle him thus leaving him not a factor in the out come of the game . I am telling him that we will hit hard and fast and out gun the Vols !! I do not care what the point spread is ,all I want ,is for the Tigers to win !! GEAUX TIGERS !!Again he , my neighbor is saying , UT 42 , LSU 13 ! I hope like hell he is wrong !! I could put his hundred on a new guitar !!

LSU Chinese bandits will one day be challenged by lawsuits from the PC crowd. And the LSU front 7 would come right after them, paralyze them, and then devour them.

USM has a cool 1st down tradition: everyone shouts "To the Top!" ala, their fight song. Not much, but cool. They need to do "GO! BLACK!" (like Penn States cheer) more often.

Someone on here made the comment that they were sitting next to an opposing fan and they complained about the 1st down song. He asked if that was the only song the band knew. He told him if there defense wouldn't allow LSU a first down all the time he wouldn't here it so much.:hihi:
