All that matters is that we have TWICE as many BCS titles as ANYONE else in the country. And no vball, just winning a BCS game isn't really winning a BCS title.
I agree with you but speaking of talk of a neutral field keep in mind that when USC WINS the ROSE bowl they aren't playing on a neutral field. Its funny how that is overlooked in their case but is brought up time and time again when it is LSU playing in New Orleans!:dis: Talk about bias...
We're the best team in the best conference and just beat the No.1 team in America. What else is left to prove? Scoreboard baby
There was no love for Auburn at all except from people associated with the SEC, and there sure as Hades wasn't any talk of a split. Auburn got hosed, and so do we. It's an SEC thang. The "powers that be" hate us, because we are the POWER THAT IS.....SEC!!!!!!!!!!!
Wheres the Crystal? How about a little BCS History; 98 Fiesta #1 Tennessee (SEC) 23 #2 Florida St. (ACC) 16 99 Sugar #1 Florida St. (ACC) 46 #2 Va. To be fair, Miami was a Big East team when they played in those title games, Meaning not only is LSU the only team with Multiple BCS titles, but the SEC is the only conference with Multiple as well.
I was not sure about Miami. The Big 12 had two (Texas & Oklahoma) Thanks, let me edit to reflect the right data.:thumb:
It's BS for anybody to suggest USC deserves a cut of the title. If so why not was USC put in the NC game to begin with? I listened to both Fowler and Corso spew some of that crap after the game last night only to have Herbstriet and Blackledge shoot them down continually. The formula is suppose to match up the two best teams in the country for a one game "you take it all" playoff. LSU won, they are the champs, end of story. There was a small faction last year that suggested that Boise State maybe deserved a cut of the championship because they beat the mighty Sooners and were undefeated...in the WAC. LSU looses two games in the hands down toughest conference in the NCAA to two teams that also went to bowl games. USC also lost two games, one to a bowl team, and one on their home turf to a team that won 4 games and finished second to last in their conference. The Tigers are the champs and the SEC has two in a row and four BCS titles and there are a bunch of folks across the country that are not happy about that. They know the best football is in the SEC but they cannot admit it so some of the beyotching is to be expected.
Damn, not sure which one I forgot about. Either way, we got Double the number of BCS crowns as the next guy does. :thumb:
