Well, that depends on whether or not they live up to the expectations next year...you are out of excuses at that point. As far as this year, I still think I've seen nothing that leads me to believe this is an 11 win team, which is what it will take to have a legit shot....I have seen that I think they will be better than the 8 I thought they would win, but there is still a lot of football to play and a lot of good teams they have to beat to make that happen.
It would take a Miles led team 3 games to get to 38 pass attempts. It was actually more because of pressure and Burrow had to run. E must have called over 40 passes.
I dont know about that, maybe maybe not. I'm pretty sure we dont win that game if Miles is the coach though.
I'll admit I'm a casualty of the past with not giving the benefit of the doubt when it comes to having a legit passing game. We have all been scarred to some extent. I hope we are opening up a new page of a new age offense in Baton Rouge.
I'd hope that the offense can work on the passing game and offense in general this week....imagine if the offense could steal a series or 2
To answer the question, no. I like what I’ve seen so far, but from an objective standpoint, Tua has taken the Tide to an unbelievable level that we’re not ready to compete with yet. Need to see Burrows and the receivers be more consistent. Also, while Ensminger has not made us look like Texas Tech, understand that he has needed to call games a specific way to win games. I really liked the final drive this week, and it reminded me of the final drive against Florida two years ago. Great play calls, and we executed enough to get the W this time.
