Ron Paul's foreign policy makes sense. Every nation in the ME we disrupt becomes MORE of a vacuum for terrorist activity, more of a drain on the American taxpayer. And for every errant bomb we breed more terrorists, both directly and by use of anecdotal evidence.

Ron Paul follows the Christian Just War Theory and believes in a strong national defense. He voted to bring bin Laden to justice and criticized Bush when he became distracted from the mission by Iraq.

He believes that wars should not be entered into haphazardly and without the support of Congress, and that when entered we should be interested only in victory and that spending billions of tax payer dollars to rebuild bridges we just destroyed is a waste.

You who disregard him are foolish - the frontrunners are running on his ideas without half the comprehension of what the positions they are arguing for mean.

His opinion on illegal immigration and border security takes him off my list of potential candidates. We've already had a Texan in the White House that panders to illegal aliens to get votes , I see no need for another.

    ______________ > Obama

Any of the candidates will be an upgrade!...even another Democrat.

It's sad to say but Jimmy Carter would be an upgrade. :dis:

Seriously, most of the candidates will be ≈ Obama. Say one thing, do something else, keep things basically the same.

So do democrats, hence Baraq. He isn't the only one, though. This is why border security is sh*t. They all want the damn votes, they don't give a phuck about what the people want.

The two parties don't often agree but Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama, and McCain have had more in common on this subject than people realize.

The majority of Americans want border security. The majority of politicians want to support/protect their financial and voting base more than represent the people. The people will not get what they want...period. We have given Congress and the Oval Office too much power. What do you think the result would be on a national referendum?

Many corporations hire a LOT of illegal aliens for cheap, unaccountable wages. Neither side wants to alienate the largest growing demographic. They know this group is more likely to shift than blacks who are the easiest group to predict.

No politician wants to use the word anmesty yet that's exactly what they want. They think the people will be fooled by using clever verbiage. It might work as there are a LOT of stupid people out there. (1)
