I've looked at a few mock drafts and have yet to see any with a Tiger in the 1st round. I know those things are never right but they have always included one of our boys somewhere. It would be an end to a pretty impressive run of at least 1 player in the first round every year. Longest streak of any school if I'm not mistaken. I hope it continues.

Someone like Lafell or even Chad Jones could end up sneaking into the 1st round, depending on their combine.

Last year, I was shocked that Tyson Jackson was taken 3rd overall, so you just never know.

I would think Lafell would have the best chance to sneak into the first round maybe to New England, they are desperate need of a physical wide receiver to play opposite Moss.

LSU is working on 5 years which is the longest active streak. But the all time streak was 14 years in a row by Miami.

is it over? gosh, no! LSU still has the athletes and coaches to be at the top of the world in football, but it's slipping fast. i like miles and respect his decisions, but he didn't do himself any favors with retaining crowton and stud, but that's already been beaten to death on this forum.

LSU will be better next season because miles usually delivers when he says he will... i have confidence that JJ will be very, very good next season. i don't think we'll jump from 112th offense to the number one offense, but we'll be good enough to win the west. it's going to come down to LSU - Alabama like it usually does, and we get them in OUR house.
