I spend a lot of time on other sites, and I'm not saying anyone here is saying that anymore. But the rivals still maintain that CLM is living off CNS' recruits. I shouldn't let it bother me, because as evidenced by the last two classes, we haven't missed a beat in the recruiting arena, and we sure haven't on the field.

Well, he has been winning with Nick's recruits. But what many of his critics don't understand is that there will be no drop-off in talent when Nick's players move through the program. Les has been recruiting at about 3.7 stars a player . . . just like Nick did.

Also, keep in mind, that getting the good talent is only part of the challenge. A coach, and his staff, have to be able to develop that talent too. Some of the players that are standing out, and were recruited by Saban, really were not developed by Saban due to his leaving. Coach Miles, and staff, have taken a recruit that they probably would have gotten anyway, and turned him into the player that he is today. Coach Miles has shown that he can hang with anyone when it comes to recruiting, and when it comes to being able to develop talent.

Keep up the good work Coach.

Actually, he's been winning better than Nick with Nick's recruits ... a testimony to his coaching and leading skills.
