Deonte Thompson we are no longer recruiting. Ron Brooks should be listed as an athlete. He'll get his shot at being a WR, but I think he'll be a DB by the time he leaves LSU. And Bajoie will not qualify, neither will Wilson. Both are going JUCO. Delvin Breaux will grayshirt due to his injury.

Blackwell was told he was being recruited as a DE. We will see if that stays true. Many say he would be a great OLine man, but he doesn't want to play there.

I'd love to get Sidell Corley as a true DE in this class. The guy is very athletic & could be really good, but will need some time to polish his skills.

LBs were not a big need in this class, although we would've liked to have gotten one. No big deal though, we'll just get a couple next year. We're resigning Clemmons & he'll be a LB.

Christian Scott is a really versatile DB, which I love about him because he'd be perfect for bringing in with different packages. Stefoin & Jones are more true safeties.

Crutchfield was recently named the #1 Kicker/Punter in the country at a camp of over 300, while Jasper came in 9th. They will both compete for all the kicking duties.

All in all, a really great class. To be ranked #1 in the country would really be something special, especially because we have 2 kickers & this class is heavy on linemen, which don't get as much pub as skill position guys.

Clemmons is a LB. We have some good depth at the position right now too. We redshirted 2 LBs from last year I think.

Scott? I've never heard that. Francois & Jones both have the build, but I don't think we'll see them switched.

you're right, nix Scott on that list.

Clemons looks to have great potential.

After 07 is over, we have:

OLB/SAM - Derrick Odom; Perry Riley; Shomari Clemons
MLB/MIKE - Jacob Cutrera; Stevan Ridley
OLB/WILL - Darry Beckwith; Kelvin Sheppard; Troy Giddens

So if Ridley does indeed play FB, we are short at the MIKE position. Who do you see moving there?

My guess is we'll stock up with 4 LBs in next year's recruiting class, with maybe a JC transfer mixed in there to add experience.

I think some candidates would be Foyil, Lott, Korte, Giddens.

Keep in mind Harry Coleman and Giddens...both big safeties who might get moved to LB to make room for Francois or Jones...

Right now our current rating on Rivals is 3.71, and on Scout, it's 3.79. If I'm not mistaken, I don't think we have ever had a class quite this good.

3.69 is our best on both services.

    Projected finish

    Scout = 3.93
Rivals = 3.88 (I removed Wilson from the list as a 3 star since he won't qualify)

This is great. I'm so happy to see Miles being able to recruit, even out recruit CNS. I'm sick of hearing people say he's winning with CNS' recruits.
