"I guess when Obama says this stuff, I don't think he really means it. And that gives me hope!"

    Funny stuff right there.

I'm still laughing. There's got to be a lot more where that came from!

Obama will be worse than Bush by the time his 4 years runs out.
The Democrat popularity ratings will continue to plummet to all time lows.
The Republicans basically have to do nothing to be elected which isn't a good thing.
I think we are headed to plenty of mediocracy in government from both parties until, hopefully someone will rise out of the ashes.

I know I shouldn't do it but I was having fun at a few peoples expense.
I don't take myself too seriously.
I don't watch Rush, I work nights and even if I wanted to listen to him I can't afford the membership fee to join his club.
I can barely afford Tigerforums membership right now.
The recession has hit home in recent months but unlike some I pick myself up by my boot straps and go to work to supplement my income.
Seriously, what kind of question is that?
Truthfully there are people on the other side that hoped Bush would fail as well as the war in Iraq.
There are a few here in Tigerforums too.
I don't want Obama's socialized medicine if that is what you mean.
I don't really like politics, especially liberal politics but they are necessary evils.
I will say its pretty hard for someone with almost no experience.
The problem that I see is that what goes for one side should go for the other side.
Its pretty hard to give the guy a chance when he already has had plenty of controversy before being elected and then again in his first month of office.

Did any of you Obama people give Bush a chance?
There are more threads here of me criticizing the Bush Administration over his final four years.
You can hardly compare me to Rush Limbaugh.
I was against us going into Iraq, I changed my tune for various reasons right around the time Saddam was hanged.
Red said something that made me think it through.

Let me give you a hint:
This is a message board, I don't take myself too seriously.
I don't know you, LSUMM, Red or anyone else very well.
The trouble with this forum is we have different perspectives and no one knows if anyone else is a communist or libertarian.
I could be a Bush or Obama plant and no one would know it!
I'm probably not going to convince you and you aren't going to convince me.
    Lighten up man!

If I may say one more thing.
This is a message board so its difficult to understand ones complete thought.
I don't think its bold at all to say that the democrats popularity rating will continue to fall or be rock bottom for the next 4 years.
Their ratings have been in the tank for about 2 years now.
Keep in mind I also said that both parties pretty much suck.
There is no leaders or fiscal discipline in DC so yes, I expect nothing but the worst out of that place for the future.
How could anyone expect anything positive out of either side for quite some time?
