Some people with think this is sour grapes but if an LSU player was playing like Fairly I would be just as critical. Nobody is going to believe that but its true.
Type in Nick Fairley dirty in a google search. The entire SEC thinks he is a dirty player. It would be one thing if we were the only ones saying this, but when he hit Mallett and tried to drive his helmet through Mallett, I said to myself, man that was a dirty shot. So he has taken out Garcia, Mallett, Lee, tried his hardest to take out JJ, and Murray. And by the way, Kudos to Mark Richt for kneeling on the ball and getting his team out of there.
No one will ever accuse the SEC of being a QB driven league. This bunch could sue for non support, which is odd when you think about it. Aaron Murray took some cheap shots and then some. The contentiousness that came from the game did help Bama in a couple ways. One, two Auburn linemen get suspended for the first half. Secondly and more importantly, next to the Scam Newton controversy, unFairley is going to get plenty of unwanted press. I'm looking forward to both.
So your boys better do their part and knock the snot out of those SOBs. Yes Tusk I am cheering for Bama, I know you didn't think it could ever happen.
The NC game is less far fetched for LSU, where you sit now, as opposed to 2007. Some here seem to be worried more about the Sugar bowl. So thinking people should be more then happy for Auburn to go down, twice. It's not that I'm not appreciative for this new found solidarity, I just know your not going to respect me in the morning. :bncry:
Dont kid yourself. Richt had as much to do with what happened at the end of that game as Aub. Both those teams should be embarrassed for what happened in the game. Richt is far from an innocent party.
The only thing I saw was Richt telling the officials it was there fault for letting it get that out of hand. If he told his players to chop block Fairley, or retaliate, I wouldn't have a problem with it. Is it right, well no, but i'm not right.
