He wasn't benched. He was knocked out on a helmet to helmet hit on a QB that drew no flag.

IMO, Boom is in over his head big time. He's a good coordinator...the second best DC we've had this decade. But he's not HC material IMO. As others have said, he doesn't even know how to act like a HC. Maybe he'll learn.

One of his first lessons would be to realize a chitty OC hire and rectify it quickly.

Here's a secret. Meyer's offense isn't Meyer's offense. It's Mullen's. That'll be shown in a couple years at tOSU, unless he finds another Mullens. Mullens was with him at BG, Utah, and then UF. When Mullen left, so did the offense. Most assumed it was due to Tebow leaving, but he won without Tebow before and couldn't after Mullen left. The thing is, it seems like Mullen is a better OC than HC too. But at least he knows how to act.

I felt 99% that he would be a good fit at UF. At this point I think they should cut their losses. The only person less impressive than Muschamp in college football this year is Clint Moseley.

Meyer rode Tim Tebow for as long as he could. Period. I don't think I'll go as far as to say that he's in over his head....yet. Jimbo Fisher definitely is.

He was going to be benched I would hope. He had 3 picks in limited passing attempts.

    Jimbo's not a lot better.

He's never going to do anything special at FSU. He can't win close games consistently enough. Pressure is too much for him.

Hes following BB, he'll be just fine.......put it this way, he has so much more respect in the profession. Now check his resume before he got to LSU, I don't have to, I know what he has. Remember Jimbo help get Mush with saban, with a little help from Pete.........I found a little on the story....

Maybe not against SEC teams, butin their game tonight, FSU had more penalty yards (96) then total yards (92). But, you might have a point. It's not like Meyer left the cupboard bare there, did he?

I don't know Fl hasn't been impressive athletically the last few years. Yes Rainy & Demps are fast and a few others shine but there is no depth of talent on the lines or skill positions.
Either that or Urban and Boom et all have taken good material and made it suck. They were like baby seals against us.
