Tommy Moffitt Retweeted SN College Football ?@sn_ncaaf 16h16 hours ago Florida State official: 20 rape claims made against football players in past 9 years LINK since deleted. i think FSUs S&C guy is a Moffitt disciple.
Jesus, anybody but him. The very guy that sculpted boys into men, SEC men. He would be the hardest pill to swallow. Certainly there are good S/C coaches out there, more than we know who would almost work for free, but Tommy is all Tiger. The level of suck in his case is unimaginable.
Vic Villoria is FSU's Strength and Conditioning Coach for Football. He worked under Moffitt for several years. He's a good guy. As for the rest, I don't know what Tommy is doing posting that sort of thing, he seems pretty disappointed at the number of people who are against Les. However, the thing that he posted is exactly the reason that I don't want Jimbo Fisher to be our coach.
So I wonder if the rumors of Jimbo not getting along with the brass at FSU has anything to do with this. In other words, did the front office tell Jimbo to turn his cheek to these incidents? Maybe that's why he is willing to leave FSU. Maybe it's not Jimbo? idk
I hadn't considered that angle, and I suppose it is possible. To be fair to Jimbo, FSU had problems with integrity a long time before he showed up.
Yep... Bobby Bowden and his good old boy act was always bullshit. They have been good looking the other way there forever.
His replacement is top of the line too but will be sad to see him go. But I am disappointed in what tactic Moffit used by jumping on the FSU saving face attempt to damage Jimbo.
This is coming third hand (my son works with a number of FSU fans) the story is that the FSU admin is the culprit, not Jimbo. They basically forced him to play Winston against Jimbo's desires. According to them (the FSU fans) that is the basis for the bad blood between Jimbo' and the FSU admin. If that's the case, then I am all in for JF.
Moffitt has earned the right to say what he wants in my view. If what he said was false it would be one thing, but it isn't. FSU doesn't give two craps about academics, or even bother to pretend that they are dealing with student-athletes when it comes to football.
