Speaking of DE does anybody remember this play?

Fourth quarter getting late. Tennessee driving, smelling it. 4th and a short 1 on the LSU 35. Tenn confidently hands off to Poole for the first down. WHOA!!! Lavar Edwards stands up two blockers and nails Poole in his tracks. LSU takes over for the final drive. Anybody remember that?

Don't forget the guy on the other end from Gillyard....Gabe Northern. He was a player.

Mingo is extremely impressive, but you have to give Drake Nevis his props as he gets there pretty quick with a guard and center draped all over him!:miles:

could never forget Northern, he was a powerful guy and a great player for us for sure, a good foil to Gillyard. I don't think he quite had the speed and quickness that Gillyard did though.
