when you were in high school or any of you who have kids in high school, have you ever seen those kids whose parents try to be way too cool, and treat their kids like friends instead of what they are, their children. No discipline, let em do whatever they want whenever they want. yeah......
I see thread after thread trying to explain/understand/justify another lunatic Mile's quote. Maybe Mile's is a sane person in an insane world. Or maybe we're all rational people, and one flew over the coukoo's nest. :insane: Here's something crazy, maybe a sane, intelligent coach could have brought Ryan P. in line, without having to kick him off the team. Maybe the last straw for Miles was when he overheard RP calling him a retard. Maybe RP was right. Or maybe Mile's is a genius, and we should just continue debating the depths and dimensions of his unfathomable quotes. Or maybe we're about to become the laughing stock of college football, with Ronald McDonald at the helm. :insane:
TT generally I don't agree with many of your posts but I do agree with this one. I would say let's see what CLM does this off season. If he doesn't go out and get a top DC and sticks with these two guys, the public outcry will be fast and loud. Rightfully so. I think he is smarter than I and many others give him credit for. He is probably embarrassed by this season more than anyone. Look for a top DC to be here by Feb 1st (Before National Letter of Intent Day). If not, look out.
if that's true then that coach should be working in the prisons or with a ministry or something. some people make good choices some do not despite coaching, parenting, etc. you can call miles what you want about his coaching but saying someone else could've saved perrilloux is a bit off base, i think.
I'm not sure if you're going to see a top DC. I would expect to see someone that has had great success at maybe a smaller school who is seen by many as someone on the way up. There aren't too many top notch proven big league DC's just floating around looking for a job. Miles did pretty good with Pellini and Crowton, I expect him to take his time and find a quality candidate if he decides to axe the two headed monster we have now.
Mama said if you can't say anything nice about nobody then don't say nothing at all. In a sense that is what he was doing. Now behind closed doors I'm sure he's not following mama's wisdom.:milesmic:
