he just opened his press conference with saying how well the defense played! i mean... really... miles, wtf? they didn't play well. the play calls were bad. they didn't know what the play call was seconds before the snap. are you really going to tell us they played well on defense? are you going to be that condescending? ... i used to like this guy, that's starting to change. not because of this season, but because of his bold-faced lies to us as if we don't see wtf is going on.
What he says in a press conference is meaningless, what he does with the staff after the season means a lot. Let's see what he does and says at the end of the season before passing judgment on what he is really thinking.
What he says on camera may be 100% different than what he says to the team in the locker room and on the practice field. I think he's just not going to call anyone out on the record in front of the camera. He knows we played like shiatt and if he's not on their a$$es he's a dunce.
so whats going to happen if next year we drop 4 or 5. you know in 2005 there were 5 games we could have easily and i mean easily lost. in 2006 there were 4 games we could have easily lost, and last year there were 3 games other than the 2 we could have easily lost. Now it seems that those games are starting to swing the other way, kinda like the luck is running out. Is everyone going still blindly trust in Miles if we lose 4 or 5 next season? Whats the excuse going to be next year..... well we were breaking in a new DC and we lost alot on the offensive line...yet georgia and florida and alabama can succeed with freshman and sophomores on the offensive line. I really hope les miles rights this ship, and gets us back to what we have been used to for the majority of this past decade. Dinardo went 7-4-1 then 10-2 then 9-3 then 4-7 then 3-8 and fired. Will the administration wait until it gets that bad or will they make a move if there is a really bad season like a 6-6 or a 5-7. I honestly believe that its not the 4 losses its the way those 4 losses came. We were obviously more talented than 3 of the 4 teams we lost to on both sides of the ball.
What happens if we go undefeated and win the national championship? Why don't we wait and see what Miles does this off season before speculating on what happens after next season?
i never said if i thought we would or wouldnt. if we go undefeated next season i will run naked through the streets of central louisiana with a flag that has les miles picture on 1 side and the statement "jeremy is a brainless *******" on the other side.
So, are you saying that every close win can be considered a loss? Why can't every close loss be considered a win, then? The 1999 team had 4 games that they COULD HAVE easily won. The 1998 team had 5 games that they COULD HAVE easily won. Why don't you bring those games up and say maybe DiNardo just had bad luck, and maybe his luck was going to turn around?
I wouldn't say the games we've lost this year, except for Bama, are ones that are "starting to swing" the other way. We lost all of the other three fair and square. I don't like the play the "but we could've lost 'x' number of games" card, either. It goes the same way with losses, doesn't it? Let's not over-react to this season. If things don't get better, a change will be made; it's happened before.
because i was talking about the games from 2005 to 2007 but if you want me to i can go back and do a little research and come back later and make a case for Dinardo.
