:geaux: :crystal: :helmet: Amen brother! Sounds like they never even planned on taking him in the first place. That whole response sounded like a pile of B.S. They (LSU) could have made sure he was transported securely and comfortably to NOLA. The Superdome people could have been handled as well. It's just a shame he won't be there. I was within 6 ft of his cage when he came by us at the La. Tech game and he is impressive!!!! Wish he had a ticket to the big one.:LSU231: :champs:
He belongs on campus, period. In his habitat or in Tiger Stadium. He's use to that. A road trip , be it to the Dome or to the Swamp is too far, too stessful and too much of a risk for our beloved Mike. Granted, the impression would be a plus but, an opponent walking (or hurrying) past his big, bad @ss would and should be second to dealing with 92,000 + bad @ss, rabid Tiger fans.:thumb: :geaux: :thumb:
Acadian Ambulance donated use of their airplane to fly Roscoe from Indiana to Baton Rouge, the cage wouldn't have fit in an ambulance. He was in a cage, they used a regular truck. There are a series of photos on the Great Cats of Indiana website documenting the trip to the airport in Indiana.
