Yeah I completely agree with you. I'm also tired of hearing about Jack Del Rio. I don't understand what the affinity is with this guy....

Then I guess he wouldn't mind us striking that special clause in his contract that was put in exclusively for Michigan?

If that is the case, why not fire Rich Rod right AFTER the Cotton Bowl? They left him hanging for month, what is a few more days?

another piece of the puzzle...apparently Les's daughter (senior i believe) is an unbelievable swimmer. the swimming coach at UM is Michael Phelps personal swim coach.

    just throwing that out there.

questions...not having a coach this late in the game...only a little more than a month left of recruiting.

has anyone heard of any interviews UM is setting up??? are they flying out to meet any potential candidates??

Im telling y'all...UM has known this was going down for a while. i promise you they have something lined up or they would be interview candidates left and right trying to find someone. way too quiet.

IMO, UM, CLM, and Alleva know the deal

just for the record...Im on the really want CLM to stay side

Because fans all have the Dan Snyder syndrome to some extent. Spewing "brand name" coaches make them look as credible as their fantasy football leagues.

Then who are we interviewing or putting out feelers for? If Les leaves and we're caught with our pants down, then we're way behind in a HC search with the available pool.

    My take...

Family 1st...his kids are in school here and he wouldn't want to leave.

2nd...Michigan doesn't have a bag full of cash.

3rd...the detractors from 2007 are still there. I don't think they have changed their minds in 3 years.

4th...LSU returns a damn strong team next season that will be in the heat of NC talk again. Michigan is in a pain in the ass rebuilding mode.

5th...he hasn't even been contacted and if he had I think he has the integrity to let the AD know...and as far as he has said there is no contact. I tend to think Michigan is looking elsewhere...say to another coach still involved in post season.
