He has been on campus. Some could bolt if Miles left but it would be a little harder for him to do so than other recruits coming in.

    Thanks, for the correction.

I still think it applies in reference to RWilliams post, in that Miles doesn't care what the media thinks. He doesn't need to go to Mich to get the media's respect, nor is that something that he is thinking about. Even if the media doesn't give him respect, because of his bone head crap and that he is at LSU. Moving to UM wouldn't all of the sudden make him a genious, even if he does turn their program around, and he wouldn't care either way.

Could be in Michigan that Les is clearly understood. It's those folks from out of state that are hard to figure. I heard Gus has been working on his Cajun.

You might be correct in that. I hear we will be looking for a new OC in a couple of days. Miles might have him on his list, and going to LSU would be a definite upgrade from UA. Add to that the quality of life improvement going from Bama to Louisiana. Hell, if that happens Bama might never win another game in BR or Tuscalooser against the Tigers. Can you imagine Les Miles as the HC, Gus as the OC, and Chavis as the DC, we would almost be unstoppable.

Saban would be out within a yr. Be careful what you wish for there Tusk.

    My take....

Michigan would not have let RR go if they didnt already have another coach locked up. It has been 24 hours and there hasnt been a peep in Ann Arbor about who they are going after.

I think CLM is gone come Sat or Sun. JMO

I believe Alleva and Miles when they say they have not been contacted by Michigan. However, in coach speak, that does leave room for 3rd party reps to set up the deal. I doubt Miles would do any negotiating or allow any contact before the Cotton Bowl. I think UM knows Harbaugh is going pro. Hoke is jumping up and down waving his hands, yet there is no indication he is UM's first choice. If they really wanted Hoke as #1, they would already have him. That leaves CLM. I'll relax if/when he is still LSU's coach next Monday.

Now there's a theory with some legs. In a way, that makes a whole lot of sense. Unfortunately.

RR was going one way or the other. And there has been plenty on talk about who they are going after. Harbaugh, Hoke, and Miles. We will see other names too.

If Miles was going to leave it would be for Michigan so you can never just say there is no chance but IMO I think they are going another direction because of the politics with Miles at UM.

If RR was going one way or another and UM wanted to go the route of not having another coach locked up before letting him go...RR would have been gone over a month ago. And like the previous poster said...JM is a lock for going pro and if UM really wanted Hoke, he would already be the coach.
