I would like to think that if Miles has no intention of leaving for Michigan, he will be proactive and say so before the rumor mill gets going. But then again, he could pull a Nick Saban.:yelwink2:
Well, he pretty much already has on a couple of occasions. He said he and his family are happy in BR and at LSU and that he had no plans to go anywhere, even if they do contact him.
I really believe he will stay in Baton Rouge, but Michigan is special to Miles and that will come into play IF he is offered.
I would like for Les to come out today and say that he will not be at Michigan. I think he needs to say something so schools can't use that as a negative recruiting tactic.
Now that is a good point. He should at least come out and say the same things he has been saying, at least to reiterate it.
Agreed, very good point. He shouldn't call a press conference to make that statement but he should work it in to tomorrow routine press conferences.
Not sure what Miles Dream Job is but when I dream I never dream of work or a job.... its more like the lottery or the lovely female form
Why should he call a presser? Him being offered is only speculation by the media. No one from UM has come out and said he is even being considered. How presumptuous it would be to make a statement about a rumor and embarrassing as well. Can you imagine the media with Les (big nuts) being so arrogant to think he is the deserving one at Michigan? :milesmic:
I don't think he should have a presser, he should just comment to someone on the record that he has no interest in leaving LSU. The reason you do that is because Saban, Muschamp, Chizik, all the usual suspects are going to be telling these kids who are on the fence, that Miles could be leaving. If you have no intention on leaving, the sooner you make that known, the better it is for your program and your kids.
