Coach Miles has made it perfectly clear to the Michigan folks that he and his family are not interested. This is solid. If his name is mentioned, he will not comment out of respect for Michigan.

Coach Miles isn't leaving. Michigan is aware of this.

@DerekPonamsky Per one of my best sources Les Miles has let it be known to people at Michigan he is not interested in the HC job, if it opens. #LSU

As for the possible Michigan opening, things may have just gotten a lot more interesting thanks to the Denver Broncos. The Broncos are apparently about to name John Elway as Executive Vice President of the team.

Elway, as a Stanford alum, apparently has a decent relationship with Jim Harbaugh. It is expected that Elway will probably try to hire Jim Harbaugh for the Broncos head coaching vacancy. That will undoubtedly notch up the chatter regardling Les Miles.

I don't think that Miles is a real candidate (at least I hope not) and that Michigan will wind up pursuing Brady Hoke or another candidate.

Brace yourself for the increase in "Les Miles is leaving LSU" stories in the press if the Broncos do hire Harbaugh.

Would that be the 1st time 2 brothers have NFL head coaching jobs (Jim Harbaugh at Denver and John Harbaugh at Baltimore)?

Yes. The Elway/Stanford connection will certainly cause folks to suspect that the Denver Broncos are going all-out to hire Harbaugh from Stanford.

I went to the Scout Michigan Board...

I went to the Michigan Message Board to see if they thought they had a chance at getting Jim Harbaugh. Well they are saying if they can't get Harbaugh they want to get Coach Miles.

What is the chance that Coach Miles leaves to go to Michigan? I hope if Michigan ask him to be their Coach, Coach Miles will turn them down.
