Ding...Ding. We have a winner. I have thought this odd from the minute I first heard he was stepping down. There is MUCH more to this saga. We can only wait and wonder.
unless he literally has a change of heart:yelwink2: Seriously, I can't understand how sitting out a year will help his pre-existing heart condition, unless he gets surgery (if fixable). Not again! Very true! Although this could be a very tough decision. However, he has to remember $$$ isn't everything; what if re-subjecting himself to the high stress leads to him not being able to spend time and money with his family?
Wow I didnt realize the florida offense stats were that bad? What did we wind up 109 or so in total offense? I should pay more attn to other SEC stats, I guess. If Adazzio is as bad as Crowton maybe that is what is behind all this. I doubt it though. I bet Meyer really does have some health issues. I dont see this as underhanded. I realize there is some degree of privacy about your medical issues but I would think U of F could get the straight scoop from his doctors. but you never know.... anything for publicity? maybe so.
On the ESPN ticker it says that UM says in his gut he will coach next year. It says that the players changed his mind after a spirited practice. I think my first thought, gut feeling was right on this. It had nothing to do with health, that was nothing more than an excuse because he was thinking about or decided to leave the same year as Tebow. Say what you will, if there was a health problem here he wouldn't have let the players change his mind after a spirited practice!
To Florida fans, after scoring 700 points a game last year, and returning nearly everyone but Harvin, 95th in red zone offense is unacceptable.
