Was listening to ESPN Radio this morning. Who ever those dick heads were talking, do they even understand football? Few statements about the UNC-LSU game: - With latest rumors of 16 starter being benched, even with that, LSU won't be able to more than 2 touchdowns - They cannot win because of Les Miles - JJ will at least through 2 picks even to 3rd stringers. He is that bad. WTF. Sorry, just venting but it doesn't sound like we are 2 yrs off from winning the marbles. Forget about getting respect, it's down right insulting. It's almost like we had 5-7 season last time and are loosing everyone on that team. Living in North Carlina is bad enough during basket ball season, this is now spilling over in football season. Yes, yes they are. This morning driving in I hear Colin Cowherd ranting about unwritten rules in baseball, and in general. To make his point he says great coaches in football don't care about these unwritten rules and run up scores no matter what. The coaches he used as examples were Bill Belichick, Urban Meyer, and Lane Kiffin... Needless to say I changed the channel as soon as I heard that sentence.
i agree with you. it's blatant disrespect. usually i don't give two sh!ts what the media says, but that's because there are usually two sides. everything i see/read this season is blatantly one-sided to the point that LSU has a snowball's chance in hell of amassing more than 8 wins. because of CLM and/or JJ. which is ludicrous. i can understand why they say that CLM would handicap us, but why JJ? if you look at his stats from last season and understand what all the SOPH quarterback had to deal with, his numbers are DAMN impressive. and as far as CLM is concerned: you CAN'T win a national title if you're inept as a coach. period. there are so many things that have to line up correctly that even if you claim he won with CNS's players (false,) or that it was his assistant coaches who did most of the coaching (miles hired them,) you have no argument. it makes my blood boil. o: i only hope it pisses the players/coaches off and gives them fuel to prove to the world that WE ARE LSU!

At some point all we need to accept the following facts about everyone in the media that is not named James Carville (All in their eyes not mine) 1. Les Miles is a terrible coach and LSU will continue to decline under him. 2. LSU is not a very good football team (Hence picked 4th in the west) 3. Jefferson is an awful QB and we will be lucky to win 6 games. 4. Anything LSU HAS won in recent memory was pure luck and not deserved. 5. Nick Saban and Urban Meyer are the gods of the SEC and the rest of us should bow to them and pray they dont score 50 6. ESPN and the likes are comprised mostly of two bit yankee jerk offs and stood on their knees to USC who are now doing that to Alabama. It is what is is... Herbstriet is the exception. I kind of like him. He is more level headed than most and sees Two comments 1. Who cares 2. LSU can change all of this by winning the games people dont expect them to.....
