If there was the biggest upset in the history of the SEC, and Auburn beats the Gumps, who would win the 3 way tie if TAM, Bama, and LSU have 2 losses each? Since Bama's two losses were in the west, would it go to TAM and LSU, with LSU winning due to the head to head? Hey, I can dream can't I? GEAUX TIGERS! PS Thank you TAM. I am glad you guys are not going to lay down to the gumps like the piggies do!!!!!!!!!
If Auburn beats Bama I'm pretty sure the tie breaker would put Bama ahead of us due to the head-to-head. I had the SEC tie-breaker saved once but no longer do. red has that shyt. He'll be around tomorrow if no one on now knows.
If LSU wins out, and Alabama loses to Auburn, Texas A&M has to win out for LSU to play for the SEC championship. In other words there needs to be a 3 way tie between LSU A&M and Alabama for LSU to represent the West. Alabama has lost 2 SEC West games which would leave it down to A&M and LSU, LSU holds the head to head.
I thought they gave the division title to the team with the highest BCS ranking in the event of a tie?
That's only if it's a 3 way tie with one loss teams. If 3 teams beat each other, there is no real way to gauge a true winner, so they go BCS. With 2 losses a piece it comes down to conference losses first, then head to head.
Wouldn't be a tie. If the gumps lost to the tiggers, then they'd have 2 losses in the West. It would be between the Faggies and LSU, and since we beat the Faggies... we would Geaux.
My only crazy ass hope is that Chiz rag just said to himself, I gotta win Georgia or Alabama to keep my job, if we focus on Alabama (because remember alot is forgiven if you beat Bama) we'll just concede this game and get ready for the Alabama game. Just a stoned thought.
This is definitely a moot discussion, though. No way in hell bama loses to the barn. On a brighter note, however, they may very well lose to Georgia.
