Talking about it won't change anything.

Unfortunately, yes because I was at the game. I forget the exact year, but it was mid 90's and there was a monsoon right before kick off. LSU led the entire game, but Steve Taneyhill and his Gawd-awful mullet led the Cocks on 2 4th scoring drives and they beat us 18-17.

This! I think LSU wins as well. I feel better about this game then I did last week. LSU has basically nothing to lose. This team now definitely realizes their flaws, and they are not as good as them or anybody thought they were. That loss, the 1st loss, the big let down, etc.... Is probably a blessing disguise for them. They all( this team, this group, these leaders, not last years) now know the feeling of being defeated, but more importantly, being defeated by themselves.

They will watch this film, they will get put on blast, they will learn from this, they will see that they didnt execute, they missed assignments, blocks, and tackles. Committed stupid penalties, turnovers, and made stupid rookie mistakes. They will see where they didnt protect the football, didnt protect their QB, and most importantly, didn't protect their goal line. They will see that they lost the battle of "who wants it more" on both sides of the ball, and they will learn from this, they will get better. I believe it in my heart, will again next sunday morning.......as long as I'm breathing, and tigers are playing, I'll be believing!

Also, for these guys (this team) they experienced that first loss, that first feeling of confirmation "we are NOT the best" it's been confirmed on the score board. That pressure is finally of their shoulders because they all now know, the sun still rises and sets, the world didn't end.

To the players..... This is an experience of a lifetime, make the best of it, leave it all out on the field, no "what ifs" But most importantly, Go have fun! Oh but Defense, stay angry!

SC comes in doing everything they can to not get caught sleep walking, but it won't matter. LSU has all the talent to match up. At every position other than o-line( injuries and lack of full season chemistry) but still has enough. Either LSU bust it open early, or a huge momentum swing goes our way in the 2nd half,Shaw leaves injured(I'm not hoping that) but the kid needs to learn to slide....And LSU is the hardest hitting defense he has seen. And did I mention our defense is furious right now,

Its in death valley, in our house, the Tiger have nothing to lose and everything to gain..........and folks im telling you...... smells like an upset in Baton Rouge on a Louisiana Saturday Night Baby!

    GEAUX TIGERS!

Don't be so sure. I'm thinking Vegas is counting on A LOT of people saying stuff like "wrong team favored" and "I'll take SC and points all day" Those are the same people that (and there were a lot of them) that played Houston last night because the Jets are terrible.

See how that worked out for them

It's bc lsu won 18 straight and is at home. Theres no way we weren't going to be favored. The line is never affected much after one loss or even 2. Rarely even with injuries. These lines can almost be set in advance even though those wins have little to do with this team. Lines are very predictable even moreso in the nfl.

I can probably guess within 3 points of almost every nfl game each week.

Vegas spreads are about driving the betting, not predicting the game.

LSU will be thoroughly embarrassed by SC this Saturday night , at home.
They will be totally outclassed and stomped. And that is exactly what they need for the fan base to put pressure on the under achieving coaching staff, STARTING with the offensive coordinator.

LSU has scored a grand total of 18 points and ONE touchdown against the last 2 SEC teams.

Those of you who think LSU has a remote chance against SC are fooling yourselves.
The season was over for LSU when SEC play began.

    SC 44 , LSU 3

Shortly followed by a drubbing in Texas and a severe Whipping at home against Alabama.
Shortly followed by another loss in Mississippi, possibly 2 losses back to back in Mississippi.
Followed by a loss to Arkansas at home, to put the icing on the cake.
