sure it is. the amount of money you make does not dictate if you are treated fairly or not. yet he gets paid handsomely to learn to deal with it. And of course its often highly unfair. who knew how to wear a hat and/or headset was relevant to coaching. its a conference win either way.
Allright. Credit Bama for last years SEC CG win and give LSU credit for the 2007 SEC CG win. Still only three games difference in SEC wins over the past three seasons.
Are you sure that is when it started? It wasn't when Saban left and Miles was hired, was it? Remember, Saban's recruits and all.
is it possible that Miles has just had bad f'n luck for the past 2 years? It seemed in 07 even when we failed, nothing could stop the fact that LSU was going to be there. 5 4th downs, the Miracle against Auburn, the comeback against Alabama, the crazy Flynn to David over the shoulder throw on a fake field goal, Perrilloux coming through against Tennessee, i mean damn the stars were aligned. Just seems all the little things that could go wrong have been lately.
asking that miles and his team do the best they can and work as hard as they can is fair. having unrealistic expectation, asking for things out of miles' control, and then having hiring/firing policies based on unrealistic expectations is unfair.
Why don't we count the records from 2005-2009 to see if we can make up the 8-game deficit over the last 2 years? Maybe that will make us feel better.
I don't know man. Following some Okie logic, it would seem as though his choice of hat and headset are within his control. Fair game for criticism. :hihi:
alrighty. so i missed the hat and headset thing.:hihi: i was thinking more along the lines of officiating, how other teams do, stuff like that. i guess im gonna have to get specific next time. :milesmic:
