CLM is way, way too savvy to allow his team to slack off into a trap game; and, as stated above, the 'finally at home' element of a team on the road, playing in front of another truly jacked-up SRO crowd? Tiger Bait!
About as trappy as you can get. It's a scary game, glad it's at home. I would have rated the potential for losing at Kentucky this week at least 30 percent.
I think the fact that this game is at home plays very strong into LSU's hand. They've been on the road for 2 weeks straight. The fans are going to be absolutely JACKED for the game. Gonna be very hard for the team to come out flat with the fans going crazy in the seats.
The fans will be ready after 3 of 4 games being away from home AND the first SEC game. The time does suck, no doubt about it, but the fans will be ready for a home game and I think will respond well. And yes, I've been to TS for an 11:20 game. We'll know very early if LSU comes out flat or not.
this would be the definition of a trap-game if UK was any good. Even mediocre. They are horrible. Their passing game is worse than ours was with JJ at qb. Morgan Newton is the 2nd worst qb in the conference only because Larry Smith of vandi couldnt start for U-High. They could use Randall Cobb who is now with green bay i believe. With that said, LSU will win this one on field position alone. UK will not move the ball much and our defense and special teams, if they dont outscore them, will put us in position to put up a lot of points-even if we are playing half-assed, which we will be. The biggest two concerns for this game are getting out with no injuries and ending it before the Bama/UF game at 2:30.
Under normal circumstances, maybe, but this defense is going to go out Saturday and work on what they practiced over and over all week after the WVU game. Because of that alone, we will not be caught with our pants down.
