That's realistic but think about the bitching if that happens.
If we beat bama and Florida, how many people will be satisfied with losing to Ark, ol ms and unc?

Or beat all 4 and drop a fluke game and to unc? Will Miles get credit for winning the "big game"? No, he will get hammered for dropping any game "with this much talent". It's neverending.

Fact is many fans put all these benchmarks up that are unreachable year after year. We will have a decent year, maybe even a great year but it won't be enough to shut some people up. Look at comments made about the 2007 NC even today. Fluke, luck, etc. It's never enough for some people because they can't truly appreciate how good it is.

I am actually excited about the upcoming season. This is a better team talent wise than last year and loaded with serious speed on both sides of the ball. The offensive line is much better and if you saw the spring game they are using a different blocking scheme than last year, double teaming at the point of attack and sometimes using a double tight end set on the same side. Running backs are much better and I think we actually have a fullback that can block. Although JJ had a poor Spring game and is getting a lot of flack in the media I look for him to be a better than last year due to having more experience.

The defensive backfield will probably be the best in the SEC and maybe in the country.
The linebacker rotation of Sheppard, Baker, Francois and Kevin Minter who had 11 tackles in the spring game will be very good with some experience.

    Continued... I've got client

I sure do appreciate the posts of both Cajun Sensation and Red, and I certainly do NOT have any inside info, but from what I have read, mostly on this borard, seems to indicate that the players are behind the coaches.

It's a good sign that recruiting is going very well and we have heard that current recruits are "friends" with players --- another sign that the playes are happy with the coaches.

I think that IF our O and D lines perform well, then we will have a very good, possible great year ahead of us.

Red has given some very good advice. You should take it seriously.

Aghayere, Edwards, Montgomery and Mingo on the ends, Nevis, Downs, Brockers, Davenport, Levingston, and BENNY LOGAN in the middle. I think we'll be very good defensively.

We've got the best field goal kicker and pooch punter in the SEC and maybe in the country and I think Jasper was the guy last year who did the onside kicks. If so I would put him #1 in that category too.

Our main weakness I believe is inexperience.

I'm looking forward to the upcoming season.
