It's too early to tell, but he does look familiar.
ABSOLUTELY NOT!!!!! Jarett Lee's interceptions: Vs appy state, didnt matter Vs Auburn had no bearing in the outcome of the game Vs UF garbage time and really didnt matter, he was trying to make a play down by 20 something. Vs USC didnt have any bearing on the outcome of the game. Vs. UGA the first one hurt, the second one hurt, the 3rd one hurt but i blame the play calling for the first 2 and he was trying to make a play down by 2 touchdowns late in the game with little time left. Vs. Tulane no bearing on the outcome of the game. Jaime Howard was a waste of his father's sperm. there is NO comparison.
Jaime Howard helped us turn things around in '95 Dude had one attrocious quarter. Other than that, he wasn't a bad QB.
So were Tebow, Stafford, McCoy, Harrell, Bradford, Daniel, can't remember any of them playing like Lee at this point in their career's.:geauxtige
Im going to go out on a limb but I bet there are quite a few more freshman that struggled in their first year that went on to have huge careers. Use your imagination, you might be able to pick out a few former Tigers.
Its got nothing to do with fans............THE REPTITIVE DECISIONS that are being made to throw into coverages that result in 5 TD's and game momentum changing instantly is what bothers me. I could be wrong, but with JJ already playing and the competition that is coming to QB I predict JL may have a short career if things don't change. These days really good QB's don't experience this much "growing pain", all you have to do is look at the early success the Big 12 QB's had to see the players these days are good when they show up the first day of college.:geaux:
Yeah he (jamie howard) was stellar in 95 led us to a record of 3-3-1 in the 7 games he started in. We beat Auburn 12-6 a game in which Patrick Nix pulled a jamie howard. We also beat Mississippi State, and Rice. (congrats jamie!!) Herb Tyler came in game 8 as a freshman and led us to a 4-1 record with a loss to Bama 10-3 in tuscaloosa, and defeated Nick Saban in the Indy bowl with Michigan State. I hardly think that Jamie Howard helped us turn things around.
J-Lee has the third best quarterback rating in the SEC. He is going to be better , despite what many think, he will be the starter next year. Miles is not going to start from scratch and go though grooming another young quarback. Look for JJ or RS to get playing time the way RP did last year. The pick sixes are what is really making Lee look bad. Passing Statistics NAME CMP ATT YDS CMP% YDS/A TD INT SACKS RAT 1. Tim Tebow, Florida 114 177 1569 64.4 8.9 14 2 11 162.71 2.
