Is it time to bench Brad Wing for a little while?

He's really off this year. Wasn't there a 10 yard punt last night? Maybe the other Aussie should see the field?

He'll be fine. As clutch as he's been for the team... i'll give him a mulligan for last night.

He needs to get out of this slump he is in thats for sure...I would not cry foul if Miles let him ride the pine some. Wonder if he has fully healed from his groin injury at the beginning of the season?

It would be one thing if it was just one game, he hasn't been himself all season.

With the exception of the defense creating more turnovers and scoring points, I think the entire team hasn't been itself.

Oh it has been more than just last night, it just got worse. Something is not right for sure and my initial knee jerk reaction would be to agree to benching him. Then I start to think about how place kickers are such a fickle lot in general and that punters aren't too far removed from them. Normally the pressure to perform that Wing may be under is reserved for the place kickers. Where normal punters just go in and kick the ball the best they can with the occasional goof up, Wing, the team, the coaches and us as fans have great expectations from him.

I do recall that he missed the first game due to an injury. Though he may be fully healed maybe he started to practice before he was fully healed and changed something in his technique to ease the pain, developing bad form in the process. Then again it may be something as subtle a different shoe. Regardless there is something wrong and hope that he or somebody can identify and fix it soon. I would hate to see it come down to a benching and have that become yet another issue to overcome in route to getting back to the form we all expect of him.

Yes, he's hurting the team, in the Florida game and again last night. If he played defense Chavis would already have sat him down. Maybe needs some coaching too. He's releasing the ball too high. Wouldn't give up on him though. He can do it, as he has shown.

He's the greatest punter since ray guy. No way you bench him. He will be fine.

Ray Guy remains the greatest, due greatly to the fact he never shanked a turd into the sidelines.

The kid can take a seat, sip a drink and watch his team mate do it for him a couple of times in the first half. Baring injury, it should be bombs away.
