Did the booth do their job in this instance? Of course not. That was not targeting and their job is to interpret the intent of devin white and the penalty. They took what seemed less than a minute knowing the impact of their call. They usually cant spot the ball in a minute much less review a critical penalty.

I hate the complain about referee guy every game more than any other. But I hate the try to be overly objective guy like moscona (and tiga) even worse. He never has an original thought and takes the anti lsu (fan) argument most any chance he gets. Leave that to guilbeau. Even more predictable than the fanbase.

Should fans be pisssed? I think so. It was a bullshit call with much of the national media now in agreement.

Should bring a level of vitriol and passion to the game which should help the home team. And Im ok with that.

The point is that the SEC allowed Saban to decide on Davis' punishment and didn't do the same for Oeaux. By comparison White's punishment should have been having to run a lap or 2 around the field after practice.
