I brought this up after the Georgia game, that we didn't see any screens at all this season to loosen up the defense.
Come to think of it we ran one screen play last night that failed so I guess that is why we didn't run any more last night?
Honestly, I don't think blocking has been taught very well on the offensive side of the ball the last few years!

lets be real. coaching change is a freaking ridiculous topic. I was just posting while overlooking the idiocy of the topic.

we need a change in approach not coaching.

Can't comment on Archer so much as I was only 9 when he was coaching.

Didn't Hallman not even have a winning record?

Your view of Miles is a projection of your own damn negativity.

DiNardo and Hallman lost more games in 2 seasons than Miles has in 5.

Do we have problems on offense? Absolutely! Can they be quick fixed? Doesn't appear so.

But your solution is to quickly fire everyone; start from scratch as if THAT's any better?! Nebraska thought 9-wins weren't enough and fired their head coach and look how long it's taking them to return to their old form!

:geaux: Yeah, coaching change is what we need. Fire the coach/staff who is 5 - 1 this year and just lost to the #1 team in the nation who are also the defending national champs and have the best player in college football at QB. Fire the coach who is 47 - 12 in four and a half years and has an 80% win pct. Yeah, that's just what we need.:rolleye33:
That's just the kind of crap Nebraska did when they fired Frank Solich and hired Callahan. That worked real well. Ole Miss did it by firing David Cutcliffe and hired Orgeron to save the day. That worked out real well too. And I bet we'd have coaches just clammering to the LSU doorstep after firing a coach who won 80% of his games, an SEC title and NC in the last two years with a 4 - 0 record in bowl games. Yeah, I can see why we need to fire all the coaches right now!:nope:

There are problems on the offense that need fixing, absolutely. Right now JJ is not cutting the mustard. We may NEED Lee to come in more during games. Not advocating canning JJ, but Lee certainly could have come in during a couple series last night, especially in the 4th qtr. Why not? JJ was not getting the job done. Also, the OL is not in sync right now and that needs fixing. Where is Shep? Should have been in the game last night without a doubt, IMO. The coaches and staff definitely have work to do. That's why they get paid the big bucks. Firing them is not the answer. :LSU231:

    Bingo!

Of course its idiotic to seriously discuss a change of coaches but its not idiotic to discuss changes in how they are coaching.

There are days that I wouldn't trade you for anybody.

If you could just find your Caps key, you'd be my hero . . .

I think we have a good QB an he is still learning , and before long he will be like Tebow able to choose where the ball should be . But he is not there yet , . He is a good Qb but he seems a bit unsure , and I know with his talent , that will change . The "gators" are a good team , maybe even a great team , but we did not hit Tebow enough and not hard enough .That makes me proud to be a Tiger fan . The team shows more sportsmanship than I have in me . I as a fan would have liked to have seen Tebow on the ground not able to play after the 1st 5 minuites of the game .
So, I as a fan now have a goal "CHANGE" for this season . The SEC Championship game . I will do what I can as a fan to see that This LSU Team plays the "gators" one more time . And to be sure that the LSU players hit Tebow , 3 players at a time , one high one low and one in the middle , trying to tear off his head .That is how to win a game , play with emotion . When LSU walked out on the field it was like going to practice, they have to be on fire That is our job as fans .We have to set the fire . We got the coach, and we got the team so
:angryfire GEAUX TIGERS !:angryfire :angryfireGEAUX TIGERS !! :angryfire:angryfire:angryfireGEAUX TIGERS !!!

    Exactly.

With the way things are going, and have been going for two years, the players will never be able to count on the gameplan to win the game for them.

This is why we will get smoked by Bamaand possible Ole Miss, because they match up talentwise with us, and you know Saban and Nutt are going to outcoach the hell out of Miles.

The rest of the games we have a chance, because we simply have more talent and can maybe just outlast them like the first four games.

Now, if all the sudden our approach changed and we were more proactive, we could have a chance in those games as well.

I think at this point you gotta go all Texas Tech on offense. Short quick YAC style passing game and throw in a run every 3rd play when they are back on their heels.

(NO I DON"T EXPECT 500 PASSING YARDS LIKE TEXAS TECH, JUST THE APPROACH TO BE SIMILAR)
