I called Kiffin to inquire on how to celebrate a moral victory. He said you guys have just about got it down. Nevermind Tebow was pussyfootin around last night.

Is he the positional coach? Because we haven't had a QB develop under Crowton yet. That was the knock on him at other places he coached too.

And this is why I am not willing to crown Chavis the second coming. Why we couldnt stop that dive play when it was obvious Tebow was just being used as a decoy is beyond me. They punted the ball what, once all night? The undisciplined penalties where a joke and taking a whole half to finally get that stupid head move by their center handled is unexplainable.

The defense played pretty good but we couldnt get them off the field. We arent going to have a chance to score unless we have the ball.

I've never seen any proof to back up Crowton's reputation for developing QB's. Other than Rattay he really hasnt had any success in that department but I also think Crowton is severely handcuffed here by Miles.

Why do you hire a spread guy to run this offense? Its like bringing in an Italian chef to cook in a Chinese kitchen. I think Miles needs to get the hell outta the offense and let Crowton do his job.

Both Miles and Crowton have stated that Miles establishes a strategy and Crowton calls the plays to achieve the strategy. Why do you say that Miles isn't letting Crowton do his job? How can you possibly know that?

Because Crowton's playbook does not include handing off up the middle every 1st down and sometimes on 2nd and 8.

Miles is about as good as it gets when it comes to recruiting and hiring. But he is horrible on Gameday.

You take this team, and do not change one thing except the gameday coaching, and we have a different animal.

Crowton is running an offense here he has never run in his entire career. Why did Les hire a guy to run something he has never run in any of his past gigs? Les wants to run a pro set but hires a spread guy. Thats smart.

Every Coach has to work with Green players in College football. That what it is all about. Terrell Pryer's first game looked more in tune with Ohio states offense his first snap. Why do players at LSU need to be Seniors before they win games? The play calling was horrible. They do not counter defenses. They stick to the plan regardless of the outcome. If this continues we will not will tough games.

Hell we look medicore against ULL.

Have you failed to notice that LSU has run an effective power running game ever since Crowton arrived? His first interview as a Tiger coach he said that he's never coached where a team had the kind of running backs that LSU has and he was eager to add that to his offense.

The reason that the running game is not effective this year is obvious. Teams have no respect for Jefferson's 103rd-place passing attack and load the line.

I agree with most of this but if you look back at threads throughout this season we are saying pretty much the exact same thing every week. To me THAT is the disturbing thing. We never seem to improve at all except for the defense somewhat. I actually think the offense is getting worse. As far as us making it to the SECCG forget it unless we improve a lot and I have no confidence we are going to improve since I've seen very little after 6 weeks of the season. With the talent that we all KNOW that we have the production doesn't reflect this at all.
