I had to use Google to see what a podcast is. I'm just fine with my TV, radio, & computer.

 

you should test drive a couple. there really is a podcast for just about any interest out there

 

What am I going to learn via a podcast that I wouldn't learn via the three mediums I mentioned?

 

I think it depends on the depth of the news, story, etc.

hard to say. listen to a couple and you’ll have your answer...you’re spending 3-4 hrs a day watching Rockies baseball....trust me, you’ve got time

 

The way the Rockies have been playing it's very rare that I watch a complete game.

 

@kcal is right. There are thousands of podcast out there from the rise and fall of Rome to how to diddle your wifes skittle. I challenge you to find a topic not covered. Here is the best part, you can find just about all of them for free.

 

Try it...15 minutes of your life won't hurt.

 

Thanks for the LSU link. I don't know who was doing it, but it was informative. Are they all audio or is it a mix of audio/video? I did a Google search on golf yesterday. I saw a link to a David Feherty podcast. I clicked on it and it appeared to be excerpts from his TV show.

 

I don't know of any that are video but that is in no way saying they don't exist
