Welcome to our world! In 2001 when Nebraska supposedly "backed in" we were crucified...probably by many LSU and OSU fans. The system is the system. LSU and OSU are playing by the rules...just like the Huskers did in 2001. Good luck to both schools. By the way, I'll accept your apologies even if it's 6 years later
I thought that poll was intentionally skewed. The poll asked if you thought LSU and Ohio State were the right two teams to be in the NCG. So, if you think that one of the teams was correct and the other was not, you answer no. The poll almost forces a "no" answer.
Yeah the question was skewed...I took as if it meant all BCS bowl games, noy just the NCG. It was a confusing question.
We don't (well, when they had Drew Brees they were). I think he was just making the point that when we played them they were ranked and undefeated and they struggled to even make first downs that night. I would compare them slightly favorably to MSU in your conference, whom I figure you guys don't think of as a quality team.
I know it's not official, but if you look at Mike Huguenin's ranking of every major college football team in the nation. Look at where our major opponents ended vs ya'lls.:lsup: VT- #8 Florida- #12 Tennessee-#18 Auburn- #23 Arkansas- #25 Heisman Candidate L 3OT Mississippi- #34 Kentucky- #35 Heisman Candidate L 3OT South Carolina- #35 Alabama- #50 Ohio State Illinois- #13 L Wisconsin- #24 Michigan- #31 Penn State- #32 Michigan State- #36 Purdue- #51 Washington- #67 Akron- #96 Kind of self-explanatory. Can't wait for the game.
Boy that strength of schedule really looms big don't it!!! :tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye::tigereye:
