As long as there is no serious damage from the hurricane to the stadium and it has power and drinking water. Also, they should bump the game back so that LSU can fly in that morning as opposed to having to fly in on Friday in the middle of it. Regardless, I don't think the stadium will be full.
This is an odd situation, to say the least. I know it's been ten years or so since Florida has had a hurricane, but this one is predicted to be a Cat 4 (again) by the time it "skirts" the coast Friday afternoon/evening. Of course, it may not skirt the coast at all. It could make landfall. Do the officials in Florida not understand the resources that would usually support a game will need to be supporting life, instead? How is the LSU team supposed to stay safe in this situation?
WEST SIDE! Okay okay, seriously- I thought the west side was the bitch. Or do they turn counter-clockwise? EDIT: Just checked and see they do.
east, specifically northeast. florida will be just fine and with its rotation it wont be able to funnel a ton of water like if a storm came straight up the gulf. for example, i didnt even lose power in baton rouge during katrina. id much rather be in 30 miles inland than the bahamas. might be like an afternoon thunderstorm for people near gainsville (assuming it skirts the coast).
