Les isn't going to be concerned about redshirting this season, we're too young. He's going to play everybody that he can use.

Why? Ridley has been here since 2007 waiting his turn and overcoming a blown knee in the process. It was dumb luck we even saw him last year. Ford has only been waiting one year. He will get in the game a lot sooner than Ridley did when he got here.

I didn't mean feel bad for him not getting carries over Ridley. I'm fine with that. I meant Ware and Blue getting carries over him.

That is definitely possible. Charles Scott was similar to Hester in skill set. Keiland got more carries in '06-'07, but Scott ended up being the starter the next two years.

Between Ford's 2 rushes and J-Lee's 1 pass, I think both of these boys should get the start saturday!!!

I don't think so. We've pretty much always been a program that uses multiple RB's. I still don't think we've seen a collection of running backs like Faulk, Collins and Mealey....and if all 3 of them were happy, then the collection of Ridley, Blue, Ford and Ware should sure as hell be. They'll all get their turn.

Ridley's quote in the newspaper seemed to suggest Ford is in the doghouse. In reference to Ford, "The only people who play around here are the people that put in the work. And whoever puts in the work, they're successful in what they do and confident in their reads, that's who's going to play."

Addai, Broussard and Vincent (03) say hello. Granted they were only together for one year, and Alley B and JV didn't end their careers as well as they started (as if Cecil Collins did, haha), but I still feel that was the best trio of backs LSU has had since the late 90s.

I always thought the '01 backs were pretty damn good, too, with Domanick Davis, LaBrandon Toefield, and Joseph Addai.
