All we heard during spring ball was Ford was the man! Now he has just gotten end of the game, clear the bench playing time. He is definitely allot better than Murphy. What's the deal?

I don't think so. He's young, and Miles kept rotating between Ridley Murphy, and Bleu, which was working fine. He came into the game in the fourth quarter, which someone on the dog house would not be allowed to do.

Not sure. But there are many things (blocking and catching) that a RB is expected to do and Ford may not be there yet. Murphy threw a beautiful downfield block that sprung Shepard for the big TD run.

I think one of the "problems" last year and this was that there was no continuity on offense. Letting Ridley continue to pound and get into the game paid dividends in the final quarter. You can only play so many people and Ford is the young pup who has to wait his turn.

Just me or did Ford look a little small compared to our other guys? Depth may be the main issue, 7 different guys got touches out of the backfield last night.

True freshmen Ware and Blue are already ahead of him on the depth chart and playing. That's not a good sign for him. His career at LSU may be over before it began.

As of the 1st game thy lost their redshirts.

Ford was redshirted last season and last night was his 1st playing time in an actual game.

Yeah, but his way of saying it fits the narrative better. It's all about appearances.
