Well said. For us, in terms of winning the SECW this is a meaningless game. The pressure all rides on UF's shoulders, they are supposed to go undefeated this season. For us the emotional high of a W could carry us thru the season, and make this more than any of us anticipated. Look for the relaxed Tigers to get the W and move forward kicking everybodies tail.

It's not a must win but we can't get our asses handed to us if we want to maintain any of the small amount of respect we've generated. A respectable showing is all that's needed, win or lose.

So you're saying if LSU wins, it's because Tebow not at full strength or didn't play and we shouldn't receive too much credit. But if Florida loses, then they lost on a Saturday night in Death Valley, so that isn't anything to be ashamed of.

Sounds like we can't win for losing.

I think we can all agree to this.

Even with the Georgia win, it's not too late for this season to spiral out of control with a drubbing by Florida. We must at all costs prevent that from happening.

A lot are saying this, but frankly I don't care. A W over UF is a W over the reigning Nat Champs. If Tim's there or not. Nobody gives us a break for having an inexperienced QB at the helm, why should they if Tim doesn't play. If he does play then he has to be at 100%, so if we beat them then there are no excuses.

I'm speaking in terms of how the media is showing love, or lack thereof, for the Tigers. WHEN we beat Florida, with or without the son of gosh, I'll be higher on life than a crackhead on a binge

Thats what this is, its pretty much a lose lose situation, unless we beat Tebow. Florida, Notre Dame, Oklahoma, and USC are the 4 schools that the media will show love to, because their quarterback is out, hell most have already forgiven USC for the loss against UW.

But... If Tebow doesn't play, i think this is a "must win" game.

I don't know if I would go quite that far. It's only meaningless if it is our only loss, but there are scenarios in which we could end up with a 3-way tie among 2 loss teams in the west. Granted, those odds are slim, because each team would have to lose to an east team and a west team for a Florida loss for us to matter, but it is possible.

I agree, and i think that is kind of a bad attitude to have, i sure as hell don't want our players thinking that this is a meaningless game.
