Obviously every team aims for a Nat'l Championship. Is beating Florida Saturday night a "must" to accompish this for LSU this year? NO! First let me say this. I believe LSU WILL beat Florida Saturday night in Tiger Stadium. But,,,,,,,,,,,,,,the "must win" game comes at Alabama. If we beat Fl, and lose to Alabama, we won't make it to the SEC Champ game. However, if we lose to Florida and beat Alabama and win out, we play Florida again in Atlanta. If we win in Atlanta, we're playing for the crystal again. Before the haters start giving me alot of crap for bringing this up, let me state my beliefs. I think we'll win all the games in the regular season, including Fl and Alabama. My only intention with this post is to see that this IS NOT the be all, end all for us this year. :geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal::geaux::crystal:
Who cares which team we should lose or win? Just win, baby !!!:geaux: BTW, it's too early to discuss these stuffs.
We had to win one of these two. Either Fla. or UGA. We beat UGA so a win against UF would just be gravy. BTW, I hope we win.
It's a must win if you're looking for LSU to have a "special" season (wink). For me, it's a must win.
I believe there is much more pressure on Florida for this game. LSU is supposed to lose. Hell, they were supposed to lose last week. Florida should be fielding the greatest team in their history. This is the biggest roadblock of the year for them to go undefeated, as everyone in the nation predicted them to finish the season as. Florida is basically being handed the East on a platter, and they know it.
Its college football, every game is a must win game if your ultimate goal is to play for a national championship. If you lose, and even sometimes if you don't, its all left up to chance. If you win every game, your chances are greater. I think its poisonous to think that a game is not a must win. I think it causes complacency, and that is not good.
