UNFRIGGIN REAL!!!! We drop 7 spots in a close game which we almost came back and won????!!!!!!! and they keep kissing Ohio St. butt. One other comment: BIG 10 football wont work in the SEC.... If we lose to Arkansas do we drop out of the top 25 ??????? Saintslogo ldskule: :911:
How many 3 loss teams are ranked higher than LSU? Only Oregon St. (1 spot higher) who are on a 4 game winning streak and have a shot at winning their conference. How many 4 loss teams are in the top 25? Where would you rank the Tigers? How do you justify LSU still being ranked higher than Ole Miss with the same record, in the same division of the same conference, after just bring beaten by them?
Uh Mr. President, I thought you were . . . . . . . uh never mind. Ever hear the terms horse shoes and hand grenades used together? Finally, the AP poll is meaningless except to sports writers.
Bingo. At this point we're lucky to still be ranked in the top 25. For LSU with no shot at the conference championship and no shot at a BCS bowl, the rankings are only for recruiting. And I'm not sure they're helping us with that.
Actually, I thought they would fall to around 19 or 20 in the AP, be around 17 or 18 in the coaches. Honestly, though, the Tigers benefitted in the pre-season rankings based on pure talent alone; that's the only reason I can see why they were ranked in the top 10 at the start after not being ranked at the end of the season. But, hey, my opinion is just like any other's.
Missed them. However, they are on winning streaks and didn't lose to an unranked opponent this weekend though.
Losing to Ole Miss should drop you out of the top 15. Losing consecutive games to Ole Miss is embarassing!
