We are, but giving up 4 long touch down runs is not acceptable and must be addressed. I fully I eaux and aranda to do so. If you wernt so pig headed you would get that.

I must have missed half the posts in this thread by having "you know who" on ignore, but I can remember when he first started posting here he had a man crush on Aranda, so I'm sure he is having a difficult time handling the justifiable criticism of the DC. I would also bet big money that he was the one who brought up the aTm game from last year.

Now in regards to the thread, Personally when it comes to DC's I'm from the old school, I love to see the DC running around the sidelines with his hair on fire, firing up his players and getting in the faces of those who need some extra motivation. Dave Aranda is not that kind of guy, he is a quiet cerebral kind of guy which is fine, I guess, but If we don't have any vocal leaders on the D then it falls to the DC or some assistants, or the head coach to get them fired up.

Having said that it appears there could be a candidate that might be available at the end of the season that fits my description, a former DC at our beloved LSU and the current HC at SCe.

The "fix" for Dave's mild manner: Get him a vicious, slobbering bulldog (like GA's mascot) on a thick chain. Let the dog do the confrontations with lax players while Aranda quietly points out the problems!
