Don't kid yourself, he will still go 1st round and make lots of money. Didn't say he will earn it, just that he will get paid.

Funny all I remember him for is getting abused by a dude who had 600 knee surgeries, and him watching the game from the sideline.

I don't disagree he'll go first round I just think he probably cost himself 10 spots which would normally be worth several million dollars. With the new rookie salary cap I don't know what it will translate to in terms of $

His production was already way down from last year and now with this, it doesn't help. He was being talked about as a 1st pick and now I think he'll be lucky to go in the top 10.

Would his lack of production due to being double and sometimes triple teamed with absolutely no help at all from the rest of South Carolina's dling have made him lose more?

No. It would have to do with the fact that he is a pussy who is only giving token effort and thinks he is already worth millions and he can't wait to get down to the titty bar and make it rain with his posse.

I'm with LaSalle on this one. Make the kid pay back his tuition, room and board. If you sign a scholarship to play football then you must play football to earn that scholarship. This sets a terrible precedent. I realize there are NFL franchises who would take a chance on Charles Manson if he were 6'4", 225 and ran a 4.27 forty, but if I were an NFL GM I wouldn't touch this prima donna fool with a 10 ft. pole. What a shit head....

The thing is, once the world wide leader sinks their teeth into something they just can't let go. They can't prop some dude for owning their golden child, it is bad for business. To this day I find it hard to find something that tops Kipers melt down over Jimmy Clausen not getting drafted higher than he did. That cat is selling used cars now if I'm not mistaken.

I concur, it is like a contract, you sign it, then you play it out. This whole "re-negotiate because I'm better than what you thought" is bunch of crap. SC gave him a scholly to play football then he needs to play football, if not then yank that shit. I'm sure it will happen.

I'm not so sure that he will be drafted ... business as usual. Does and ex-LSU quarterback that was a "freak" come to mind. A busted first round draft pick is fork in the eye FOR YEARS TO COME.

Yeah, someone will draft him, but remember, 1/2 the teams are in the bottom 1/2 of the league...for a reason!
