I don't disagree he'll go first round I just think he probably cost himself 10 spots which would normally be worth several million dollars. With the new rookie salary cap I don't know what it will translate to in terms of $ His production was already way down from last year and now with this, it doesn't help. He was being talked about as a 1st pick and now I think he'll be lucky to go in the top 10.

I'm with LaSalle on this one. Make the kid pay back his tuition, room and board. If you sign a scholarship to play football then you must play football to earn that scholarship. This sets a terrible precedent. I'm not so sure that he will be drafted ... business as usual. Does and ex-LSU quarterback that was a "freak" come to mind. A busted first round draft pick is fork in the eye FOR YEARS TO COME. Yeah, someone will draft him, but remember, 1/2 the teams are in the bottom 1/2 of the league...for a reason!
