Is Clinton right (correct)? Clinton says domestic politics hurting US abroad - Yahoo! News "We're now more than a year into a new administration and whether you agree or disagree with a particular policy, a president deserves to have the people that he nominates serving him," "It became harder and harder to explain to countries, particularly countries of significance, why we had nobody in position for them to interact with," Anyone agree with this? Personally i do, and i know i will get flamed for this, but i think Hillary would have made a better President than the big O.
If you think that is the only problem with our current foreign policy you are only scratching the surface..
don't think that is the only problem, but i don't think the current President apologizing for crap the previous administration did was a bad thing.
I hate frivolous battles over nominees for political reasons only. If there's a valid concern, then that's why the hearings are there. The definition of valid is very, very subjective. These days you gotta be John Roberts to sail through and there's not a lot of John Robertses out there (my precious).
Re: Is Clinton right (correct)? Sure...it's a problem and has been for quite some time. Unfortunately the same politicans who complain about it do the same thing when the other party is in office. The hypocrisy never ends. Regarding Clinton versus Obama...I don't believe she could've done any worse. Even if her policies were just as bad I don't believe her spending would be as high or on the current accelerated pace. So what does she do in three years? Does she attempt to make a run or wait seven years? She's currently 62 years old.
I'd like to measure the actual passage of his proposed health care bill to the passed bush prescription drug coverage deal. Then we can measure who did the same thing on a grander scale.
