This is obviously debatable, but when I read this article about the Women's T&F SEC Championship, it went on about the success this year. So basketball is the only sport at LSU not to reach the postseason? That is kind of rough to think about how recently that team went to the Final Four, and suddenly they are in the worst shape out of any varsity sport.
With the facilities and course we have our men's golf team should be a lot better. Getting into the NCAA tournament in a lot of those sports is misleading -- like sports such as golf where tons of unranked and middle of the pack teams get in.
That's true, but I'd rather them in than not. It makes 19 out of 20 sound very impressive. Bball will hopefully be better next year, let's shoot for 20/20.
My post came off as a negative but it wasn't supposed to be. Thats an incredible achievement knowing all of our sports are competitive, and basketball probably would have been at least competitive had we not lost a few players. Mainly golf is different which is what I meant. They have not been a great team in a while but that should change with the progression of the University Club.
Not saying this to be a smartass, but what is so wrong with the PMAC? Yes i know its a bit old but just because it has some age to it does not mean that it is crap. Are there real problems with the place?
