Joined this site recently and it is not what I was led to believe. Maybe it was a while back, but I had heard that heated but intelligent discussions occurred here.

It doesn't appear to be that way any more.

Can you answer the question about where was the outrage when under the last administration liberal groups were targeted?

So you mean this is W's fault do you...or is it tit for tat? Does that make this all right just because the Rs did it? Come on man. Why don't you look at the present and comment on it?
BTW the latest news (ABC & MSNBC) is that instead of firing the person actually responsible for this President Obama put her in charge of the implementation of Obamacare. Isn't that putting the fox in charge of the hen house?

MM suck it up and face it either the president is incompetent and incapable of leadership or corrupt.

Im asking you a question, which you havent answered and wont answer. Where is your outrage when it happen to liberal groups, either answer that or stfu. Because you truly are a hypocrite and that is ok, but please stop with your nonsense.
Again none of these groups should have tax exempt status, all of them should be looked at closer. But are you ok with this because of the courts conservative ruling on citizens united? If you are truly outraged by this then you would have been outraged then, but Im pretty sure you werent.

I already commented on it and stated what my position is.

Are you going to answer the question, if not then i have nothing more to say.

there is no either or, he doesnt have daily dealings with the IRS.
just because you put that label on him doesnt make it true.
again you are charging the President without all of the facts
do you know that he had something to do with this directly? Or do you just hate the guy so much that you are willing to tie any maleficence directly to him.
I have an idea what it is, but thats for another day.

I think we need to blame this person: Sarah Hall Ingram, and maybe not the gut that got fired yesterday. She was in charge of the tax exemption office during most of this and now she runs the Obamacare office. They are trying to sweep this scandal under the rug.

Obama knows this and if he doesn't, he should. Maybe he will find out about it in the news just like he always does...

MM I was outraged and equally bothered by other acts of W such as FISA. However you would have to take my word for it as I wasn't a member here or posting in FSA. Is that good enough for you?

As to the the whether or not the president know about the details or ordered it or know knothing matters only in the severity. ALL of these thing happened in the departments that he had direct control of. Don't you understand that he is absolutly responsible for the Executive branch under the constitution and law? He sets the tone for others to follow.

As I said it show either he leads a corrupt administration or an incompetent one. Neither is much to hang your hat on. It doesn't need to be personal MM you should be as outraged as I am.

no thats not good enough, i asked you a specific question about IRS targeting groups, as I said they should target all political groups. Your outrage is limited to the targeting of conservative groups. Thats makes you a hypocrite on this subject and like I said thats ok we all have our biased, myself included. Just stop your nonsense with this incompetent or corrupt, it doesnt apply here.

I dont need to be outraged I have stated my position on the matter. He sets to the tone for others to follow, but the nature of some people is to be rouge, it happens on your jobs and in our personal lives, yes he is responsible for it overall, but you have to hold specific people accountable, unless it was a direct order from him or someone in the White House.

What cant you understand about any of that?

Whether you want to believe it or not, i dont blindly follow the President, I disagree on a number of issues.
    Gay Marriage
    Syria Policy
    Dislikes parts of Obamacare
    Dislike money going to Egypt
Didnt like the way he handled the stimulus package
I think he should give in more on entitlements
Cut food stamps to working people to a minimum amount
cut welfare even more, even though its a small part of the budget
Should get tougher on Russia for sending weapons to Syria
Go harder at Iran, show more force.

I have soured on him a number of times.
