you are exactly right. based upon the information that we were first given my response was completely appropriate. we've now learned a whole lot more and nothing....not one damn thing, has ever justified the initial reporting of the issue. as a matter of fact, quite the contrary....everything we've learned since then indicates that this was a NON-scandal.

p.s. I'll go so far as to say that if we DO ever find out that one of the IRS employees broke the law then they should indeed be punished but so far.....nada.

 

Then so was theirs, though you lashed out at them saying when it first came out, they were ready for heads to roll. Don't be a hypocrit. Being unreasonable is enough.

no, the problem with guys like you is that your opinion about the matter regardless of the fact that the facts have indeed changed. and truly, I am glad you brought this up because it goes to the very heart of what is wrong with our country: there is about 35% of you who refuse to change your thinking as new facts are presented. if the republicans had produced one single, credible source about wrongdoing at the IRS I would still be outraged about it but they have not. that doesn't make me a hypocrit, it makes me intelligent enough to change my thinking when the facts change. You should give it a whirl sometime buddy!

 

and by the way, I stand by this comment. you came onto this thread and made an unsolicited comment about your personal wealth's decline since this "black" president took office. that is the definition of making unsolicited opinions amigo. I have since questioned you on it and so far you've failed to produce evidence that Obama or his policies have impacted your personal wealth.

it's not the first time I confused two or three seperate threads that I was commenting on and it will probably not be the last. that said, what I said is accurate. further, you've still not defended a god damned thing you've said my man.....you and tiger tailgaiting keep throwing out these pot shots; little cutsy one liners that don't amount to a hill of beans. look, I'm not opposed to debating the merits of any issue but you are getting into ticky tacky little nit-picking things that have absolutely nothing to do with the subject at hand. so far you've corrected my grammar and chastised me for confusing the threads I have been commenting on but nothing, nada, when it comes to the issues.
