Y'all would all hate the US if you weren't Americans. You are so swayed by the American press and the propaganda you're fed, I can't imagine how radical y'all would be with state run television. Buying into the rabid rantings of mad men who can't keep their own lives straight, let alone the lives of millions.

Iran has many more problems than trying to attack us. We've been keeping them under our thumb for years, exploiting the entire region for resources. This is not how God wants a greater nation to treat lesser nations. Iran poses less of a threat than a non-state radical network in Pakistan. There are probably groups in the US right now that pose a greater threat than Iran (let's not even talk about the politicians).

Either y'all believe in America or not, and it really feels like you are selling the America our founders envisioned for a false feeling of security, for your masters to protect you. We can have an incredibly strong national defense without policing the world. Just imagine if that money was spent on true national defense rather than military escapades around the globe.

We are taking them seriously. They have been evaluated and are being dealth with as appropriate.

Why would they invite total destruction? Read my lips . . . they are developing a nuke because they think it will deter their many enemies from attacking them. They have no capabilities or intentions of attacking the US or Israel or anyone else. Attacking the US would gain them NOTHING and would result in a devastating counter-attack. Deterrence works. It worked against the USSSR and it will work against Iran.

Who? All of their neighbors are stronger than they are except Afghanistan which has nothing they want. What does it gain them? More dedicated enemies. How could they pull it off with a ramshackle military with practically no logistics.

Threats from third-world dictators are toothless rhetoric. Superpowers do not cringe in fear of pipsqueak threats from insignificant countries. When has any one of them carried through with their threats? Exactly one . . . when Saddam invaded Kuwait. And look what happened to that adventure. The lesson has not been lost on any of the rest of them.

Neither build them up in your mind until you overestimate the threat and create a bogeyman. Did Vietnam and Iraq teach us nothing? We will defeat Iraq the same way we defeated the Soviet Union. Economic pressure, diplomatic isolation, covert action, and inciting internal dissent.

We already have state run television and news on some channels. It is nothing but cheerleaders for the Democrat and socialist parties of America.
An example, Bush was president we had the worst recession since the great depression with unemployment at around 5% and now we have a Democrat in office and 8 or 9% unemployment and its anything but that!

Only overseas on Radio Free Europe and Radio Liberty. There is no domestic state-run news channels

Recessions are not measure by unemployment, but by Gross Domestic Product.

An obvious one. They had already bombed two US embassies in Africa and almost sank the USS Cole. Bill Clinton tried to kill him twice with cruise missile strikes in Afghanistan, but our "friends" the Pakistanis tipped him off both times. George Bush did nothing about Al Qaeda, not even retaliating for the USS Cole bombing until after 9/11.

Sheeyit, the "conservative" hawks are as bad or worse. I imagine if you follow the money for either it would make ya sick.

I can partly agree with this but I will have to think about it also. Not sure what you mean by follow the money. We live in a capitalist country where money is exchanged for goods and services. To distinguish the difference between the conservative news and the liberal news. The liberals have most of the tv stations, newspapers, there is no more denying their agenda as cheerleaders of the left the more liberals move left of center. Another example is when the ABC networks followed Obama during his last campaign overseas. It was very close to Idolatry, the way they were all around.

The conservatives have most of the radio stations, one or two news channels and a few newspapers. Big difference here not to mention the Liberal bias in Education, Education should be used for anything other than politics and religion. IT should be used to teach you real things you need to learn such as finances, Economics along with math, science, Language, etc.
How many people have screwed up their finances because they didn't know what the hell they were doing? I am talking about credit also here.
I didn't know what the hell it was when I got out of high school and I have known people to really screw up their lives!

This may be one of the best counties in the world but when it comes to news it really sucks, everything is slanted one way or the other. I have had people tell me look here or look there but I have yet to find anything unbias.

It all balances out if you read widely. Yes, TV, Hollywood, and many newspapers are liberal. But Murdoch is changing all that by buying up newspapers and changing their politics.

But conservatives own talk radio and the political book market, so their media influence is strong, too.

I find the least biased TV networks to be CNN and BBC. NBC and FOX are the most biased.
