And a little more from 2015....

House Speaker Paul Ryan called Tuesday for a "pause" in the Syrian refugee program in the United States until there are guarantees it can't be infiltrated by terrorists.

"This is a moment when it's better to be safe than to be sorry. So we think the prudent, the responsible thing is to take a pause in this particular aspect of this refugee program, in order to verify that terrorists are not trying to infiltrate the refugee population," Ryan said at a news conference after a closed-door meeting of House Republicans.....

"One top Senate Democrat, New York's Charles Schumer, said a pause in the resettlement program may be necessary. ....Sen. Tammy Baldwin of Wisconsin, for example, said in a statement Tuesday that she would "like to see the administration more clearly explain how they will ensure that refugees are appropriately and strongly vetted for any potential security concerns."

    And then....
Sen. Dianne Feinstein of CaliforniaAccording to The Washington Post, the ranking member of the Senate intelligence committee said in a Tuesday statement, "In light of the Paris attacks, keeping our borders secure from ISIL terrorists must be our No. 1 priority. As part of that, we need to be very careful about Syrian refugee admissions and ensure we can continue to balance our security with helping those most in need."

    and....

Louisiana gubernatorial candidate John Bel Edwards — The Democrat seeking to replace current Gov. Bobby Jindal said he supports Jindal's executive order seeking to ban Syrian refugee resettlement in the state,

Bout time those over paid ungrateful clowns in Hollywood get hit in the wallet. Love how these idiots, most who have bodyguards, gamble with OUR lives. They live is rich safe neighborhoods. Hollywood has become a vile disgusting sewer of anti Americanism. They hate the very country that made them rich. They get on TV and pat each other on the back and give each other phony awards. These arrogant elitists think they are better than us "commorers". Its time to "let them eat cake" I am done with going to the movies unless I know the actors are conservatives. I will watch old movies if I have to. While I am at it I am done with Starbucks to.

    FUCK HOLLYWOOD!

Ok, let me be clear before I start this. Islam is like no other religion. They clearly preach violence, and non-tolerance against people they feel do not represent their idealogical beliefs. I think that while only a small segment may act, a large portion secretly agree with those who do act.

That being said, the thing that worries me with this President, is the way he conducts himself. His I'm right and you're wrong, and I'm the only one who can fix this, and people are liars I'm not type attitude, this stuff is rigged against me, those people are liars, let's gag scientists, let's ban media (its coming) let's start banning certain religions, is very troubling because it opens up the door for discrimination against others.

What happens in 20 years or so when a person is elected and they ban Jews. Or ban Christians. What happens when someone like me who speaks against this man is labeled as a dissenter and is locked up. That may seem like tin foil hat shit but that type of stuff all starts somewhere. Will the people who elected this man or elects any man that starts to turn into a dictator actually stand up for their fellow Americans or will they just blindly support them?

I really appreciate you and Winston and Tiga for not being just blind followers, that is not patriotic. I know I may go off the rails at times, but I am a student of history, which we are doomed to repeat if we are not careful, just because we have a red white and blue flag with Stars and Stripes doesn't mean we are immune to the same shit that has happened throughout history to other countries, and I believe there are a few of you here who understand that. The way Trump is acting is very troubling to me, and if he isn't a dictator, who is to say that someone down the road won't take what he is doing, done, or will do and expand upon it. That's why I was very wary about things the democrats did in Obama's first term, because Republicans would use those same tactics at some point. Trump seems to be testing the limits of his power.

And by the way, ISIS is using this to their advantage as propoganda. This may not be a Muslim ban like trump says, but it sure looks that way. And it's damn sure being portrayed that way all over the world. America looks really bad right now. This is not strength. This is fear.

The thing is @LaSalleAve, trump didn't Ban Muslims. If you look, the top Muslim countries aren't even on that list. Going by Muslim population that is.

If its propaganda, then blame our dishonest media every single time they say Muslim Ban.

Of the seven countries, which ones have functioning governments?

Of the 7 countries which have had people attack us? Why are Christians in those counties allowed entry? Which Muslim countries does Trump's business have ties with?

    From your link.

“And what we did was, we focused on, instead of religion, danger — the areas of the world that create danger for us,” Giuliani told Pirro. “Which is a factual basis, not a religious basis. Perfectly legal, perfectly sensible. And that's what the ban is based on. It's not based on religion. It's based on places where there are substantial evidence that people are sending terrorists into our country.”

Yes and in this instance, it should matter to YOU as the extremist blowing people up all over that region and in Europe Raping girls live via Facebook ARE MUSLIM Extremist. Its an epidemic.
